Remember this?
Well, some things aren't what they seem. That's right! Little Miss Cora June is actually Jonah. Congratulations to Daniel and Tiffany on a precious baby BOY!!!

Baby Shower for Josh, Suzie, and Liam
Liam was born four weeks ago, and today we had a sip 'n' see for him, Josh and Suzie.
Rumor had it that Josh was going to be at the shower and requested that it be a co-ed shower. At some point during the day, someone told Josh that was a good call, and he said that it wasn't his idea. It sure did get pinned on him somehow. Regardless of whose idea it was, it was a lot of fun! I don't know that the guys were super pumped beforehand, but I think they all enjoyed it.
All the decorations turned out really cute!
Melany made a diaper wreath for the front door...so cute!
The sign-in table was the perfect spot to display the stuffed letters that Lacey made. Can you believe she just made these without a pattern?
Liam's nursery has a woodsy theme with wooded creatures. Lacey did a great job finding fabric to use!
Sara found these cute birds, and used some of her plants and decor to make the dessert table more "woodsy." The stuffed hedgehog that Kristyn found was a great touch!
Of course, we had to have a cute name banner. Before the shower was over, it read "MAIL" instead of "LIAM." As we noted, that's what happens when you have boys at a shower. :o)
Sara also came up with a fantastic idea for a diaper train. How cute was this idea?
All the food was fantastic! We had mini-burgers, baked beans, chips and queso, fruit, brownies, and delicious creme-filled cupcakes that Lindsay made. I didn't hear any complaints from the boys on the food.
We all had a great time hanging out. All the babies were great! Avery was content to be held by Joey for most of the afternoon, Jaxon enjoyed being fed by Melanie, Brylee seemed content the whole time, and even though he slept most of the time, I think Liam enjoyed the attention! Somehow, I didn't get a picture of Addi, but she was great too.
Since it was co-ed, it was a little more laid back, but we did have a few games. The first game started with 10 numbered diapers.
The objective was to open each diaper and guess (no, Josh, not which baby did it!) what kind of candy bar was crushed/melted in it.
I think Brian was trying to pin this one on Brylee.
Michael was a willing volunteer for the second game. However, when he was handed a bottle, I think he had second thoughts. The objective was to see which of the four boys could finish the punch in their bottle first. They were all surprised at how difficult it was.
While Michael, John, and Daniel took off to start the race...Josh had a little trouble...
It was a lot harder than it looked. With everyone cheering them on (and laughing at them), they pressed on.
Josh continued to have problems.
He couldn't get the punch to come out. Maybe you can milk the bottle... :o)
In the end, Michael was the first one to finish his...remember how competive we both are? Yes, that does extend even to drinking punch from a baby bottle.
We had a wonderful turnout, and Josh and Suzie got lots of great things for Liam.
Jaxon enjoyed the gift-opening too.
Both of Liam's grandmothers were able to be there.
For hostess gifts, Suzie made these adorable aprons. The pocket was stitched with Liam's shower and the date. So cute and so thoughtful. I love it!
Josh and Suzie, we had a great time. It was wonderful to see you and celebrate with you guys! Congratulations!

Christmas Wrapping
You may remember that our Wednesday night Bible study group chose to devote our Wednesday nights through the holidays to service. Lacey recently found out about a family associated with our church who could use help for Christmas. The family consists of four orphans (two brothers and two sisters) who have been taken in by their single aunt. Needless to say, anyone single who found herself unexpectedly raising four children would probably needs LOTS of help, only one of which would be financial.
One of the other small groups at church volunteered to shop for the two boys, so our group said that we would provide Christmas for the two girls (ages 12 and 9). Last Wednesday night, we all met up at Target to do some Christmas shopping and then had a great dinner at Cheddar's.
We had a lot of fun picking things out for them: clothes, shoes, toys, purses, and cosmetics (fun girly things like lotions, nail polish, lipgloss, etc.). However, the part I enjoyed the most was picking out lots of fun things to fill a stocking! We ended up with lots of great stuff, and it was fun to see everything that the other couples chose.
Last night we all got together for pizza and wrapped the gifts that were bought last week. We had a good time, and each of the girls ended up with several packages to open on Christmas morning!

Early Celebration Feast
Tonight, John and Bobbi hosted our class for an early Thanksgiving celebration. They opened their home, provided a great set up where all 30 people could sit at one table, and provided wonderful turkey and brisket. Thank you for being such wonderful hosts!
To start off the night, we had a big revelation. Daniel and Tiffany had just found out what they were having. Bobbi baked this super cute cake to reveal the surprise to everyone else.
Congratulations Daniel and Tiffany! We're anxious to have another sweet baby in the class.
Everyone pitched in and brought sides, drinks, and desserts to put together an amazing meal!
We enjoyed the fellowship and time to relax and celebrate all the things we have to be thankful for!
